Mr. and Mrs. Mike Yearty of Peachtree City, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melinda Dura Yearty, to Thomas Andrew “Andy” Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jackson of Jonesboro, and Larry Moore of Marietta.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dura A. Davis and the late Harold Davis of Peachtree City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Witt of Newnan, and the late Joe Yearty of Temple.
She is a 1996 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and attended Gordon College.
She is employed by Johnny’s New York Style Pizza in Hapeville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late William Sanders and Grace Sanders of Marietta, Mr. and Mrs. G. Paul Moore of Marietta, and the late Gordon and Katherine Jackson of Syracuse, N.Y.
He is the owner of Johnny’s New York Style Pizza in Hapeville, and Atlanta.
The wedding will be Sept. 16, 2000, at the Southwest Christian Church in East Point.
Following a honeymoon in Nassau, the couple will reside in Newnan.
