The groom is a 1994 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
He is employed by WLOS-TV as a photojournalist.
The wedding was April 8, 2000, at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Asheville.
