Buccafurri-Hartt Wed
Choosing a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace over slipper satin, trimmed in seed pearls, with wateau train, Phyllis Ann Hartt became the bride of Victor Buccafurri.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Jarvin of Oak Park, and Paul A. Hartt of Westland, Redford Township.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor L. Buccafurri, Melvindale.
Rev. William Whitledge officiated at the double-ring service Sept. 26 [1964] at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Livonia.
Maid of honor was Jean Padelford of Oak Park, with Kathy Dewhint, Connie Rice of Livonia, and Kris Coltson, Farmington, as junior bridesmaid.
Best man for the groom was Frank Migliaccio of River Rouge; ushers were Larry Smith, Garden City; Steven Rice, Livonia; Randy Wright, Detroit; and junior usher, Gary Buccafurri, Melvindale.
Following the ceremony, the young couple greeted guests at a reception at Roma Hall.
After their wedding trip to Washington, D.C., they will be at home on Burgess St. in Detroit.
The new Mrs. Buccafurri attended Ferndale High, Cleary Business School and is now at Shapero School of Nursing, Sinal Hospital.
Her groom attended Eastern High and is also at Sinai Hospital.
Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Ruppel of Florida and Mr. and Mrs. Wilham Pickens, Sr., of North Carolina
