Vows uniting Shannon Heather Dirksen and Jeremy James Herrick were spoken June 27, 1998, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City with Rev. Lee Laaveg officiating.
Parents of the couple are Loren and Vicki Swenson of Forest City; Allen and Lisa Dirksen of Titonka; and Corey and Cheryl Herrick of Kiester, Minn.
Monica Torkleson was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Annie Herrick, Michelle Ranheim, Angella Hall and Natalie Holstad.
Angela Lilliquist was the bride’s personal attendant.
Matthew Sunde was the best man.
Groomsmen were Brad Dirksen, Scott Adams, Allan Van Hove and Corey Matson.
Ushers were Martin Furst, Brent Geitzenauer, Jeff Leerar and Jason Van Hove.
Music was provided by organist Cathy Van Hove, harpist Paulette Church, and Mark and Joy Newcom, vocalists.
Attending the guest book were Kimberly Rollefson and Laura Thompson.
Gift attendants and candlelighters were Brooke and Katie Demmer.
A dinner and dance reception was held at Friendship Hall following the ceremony.
Hosts and hostesses were Bill and Lynn Wanzek and Jerry and Julie Krebsbach.
The couple is now residing in Brandon, S. Dak.
The groom is employed by Hormel Foods and the bride by Citibank Family Center.
They will be taking a delayed honeymoon this February to the Caribbean on a week-long cruise.
