25th Anniversary

Michael and Charolette Black of Harrison, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a reception with their family at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at 707 West Congress Eagles Hall in Pacific, Mo.
Charolette Rebecca Doyle and Michael Anthony Black were married October 13, 1977, at Florissant, Mo.; Rev. W.N. Thorlakson officiated.
The couple met at the Marine Corps Recruiting Station, Sept. 22, 1977, with Michael convincing Charolette not to join the Corps.
They married three weeks later.
Michael went to serve for 11-1/2 years and after he left the military they began their family.
Charolette is a cosmetologist in Harrison and Michael has been employed by the United States Postal Service for 12 years where he is presently serving as post master in Jasper.
The couple has four sons and two daughters: Dylan Matthew Black, Colton Micah Black, Logan C. Black and Holden M. Black and Courtney Rebecca Black and Presley A. Black, all of the home.
