Arlis Hicks - Fayetta (Carnahan) Hicks
Arlis & Fayetta (Carnahan) Hicks will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their daughters from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 12 in the Fellowship Hall at Batavia Assembly of God.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Arlis Hicks and Fayetta Carnahan were united in marriage on May 16, 1957.
The couple has three daughters, Etta Logan, Earleen Hicks, and Marsha Carter.

Arlis Gene Hicks
April 18, 1937 - October 11, 2007
U.S. Veteran - Arlis Gene Hicks, age 70 of Harrison, AR went to be with his Heavenly Father, Thursday, October 11, 2007.
The son of Lexie L. and Virgie E. (Flippo) Hicks, was born April 18, 1937 at Parthenon, AR.
Arlis was an inspiration to all who knew him.
He was a loving husband and father.
Musically talented and witty, a man who never met a stranger.
He was a mechanic and auto body man as well as a self-proclaimed "piddler" who never found anything he couldn't fix.
He was also a man of integrity and honesty and was a member of Batavia Assembly of God where he was known as their "sound man".
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Fayetta (Carnahan) Hicks, of the home; daughters, Etta Logan and Earleen Hicks, both of Charlotte, N.C., and Marsha Carter and her husband, Byron and their son, Colby, of Harrison; brothers, Howard Hicks and Harold Hicks, both of Harrison; and sisters, Alice Renfroe, Sharon Taylor, and Brenda Bogue, also all of Harrison.
Visitation 1- 3 P.M. Sunday, October 14, 2007 with service 2 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Tollie Sutterfield officiating.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Byron Carter, David Hicks, Craig Hicks, Harold Hicks, Howard Hicks, Richard Bogue, James Taylor, J.R. Renfroe, Jaime Taylor, Colby Carter, and John Berry.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Faulkenberry, Bob Womack, Tollie J. Sutterfield, Jim Blackwell, Louis Melton, Archie Carter, Dirley Wynn, John Arnold, Jodi Arnold, Duard Lewis, Ernest Ramsey, James Thompson, Steve Cavender, Bob Myers, Richie Myers, Aubrey Johnson, Wesley Berry Dr. Blake Chitsey, Dr. Charles Klepper, and Batavia Assembly of God Congregation.
Arlis now serves in Heaven in the Angel Band.

Fayetta Hicks
August 21, 1939 - September 8, 2019
Fayetta Fern Hicks, age 80 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday September 8, 2019 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The daughter of Buel Denton and Mamie Ann (Sneed) Carnahan was born on August 21, 1939 in Harrison.
Fayetta was a faithful servant of the Lord.
She was a member of Batavia Assembly of God and played the piano there for over 60 years.
She was a 1957 graduate of Alpena High School and worked many years as an operator for Alltel.
She loved all animals, but especially her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlis Gene Hicks; a daughter, Etta Jean Logan and a brother, Bernard Denton Carnahan.
Fayetta is survived by two daughters, Earleen Hicks of Charlotte, North Carolina and Marsha Carter and husband Byron of Harrison; a grandson, Colby Dylan Carter and wife Kali; a great-great-grandson, Easton Jace Carter and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tollie Sutterfield and Rev. Phillip Collie officiating.
Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include James Taylor, Jamie Taylor, John Berry, Kurt Savage, Craig Hicks, Stan Hampton and Colby Carter.
Honorary pallbearers are Byron Carter, Archie Carter, Pastor Robin St. Clair and Kent Selvidge.
