Wedding - McCullagh-Ricklic
Megan Anne McCullagh and Ryan Kelly Ricklic were united in marriage on April 19, 2008, in St. Leo Roman Catholic Church at Stamford, Conn. Fr. James Grosso officiated at the 10:30 a.m., double-ring ceremony.
Megan is the daughter of Katherine and James McCullagh of Stamford, Conn. Ryan is the son of Sharon and Kelly Ricklic of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and the grandson of Barbara and James Exley and Patricia Ricklic and the late Raymond Ricklic, all of New Philadelphia.
The bride wore an empire-waisted Italian satin dress accented with French Alencon lace and a headpiece borrowed from her sister, Jeanne Fahan, that was made from lace from their mother’s wedding dress. She carried an Infant of Prague medal that belonged to her paternal grandmother.
She designed all bouquets for the bridal party and arrangements for the reception.
Matrons of honor were Jeanne Fahan of Connecticut and Katherine Caminita of California, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Polen of Coshocton, Ohio, and Amanda Crowthers of New Philadelphia, sisters of the groom; Megan Rozell of Connecticut, friend of the bride; and Jennifer McCullagh of Connecticut, sister-in-law of the bride.
Matthew Klein of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, served as best man. Escorts were Michael McCullagh of Connecticut and James McCullagh of Rhode Island, brothers of the bride; Stephen Gardner of California, Christopher Jack of Connecticut and David King of New York City, friends of the groom.
A reception was held in Green Tree Country Club at New Rochelle, N.Y. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom, Kelly and Sharon Ricklic, on April 18, 2008, at Pellicci’s Italian Restaurant.
Megan is a 1999 graduate of Trinity Catholic High School at Stamford and a 2003 graduate of Southern Connecticut State. She is employed at Stamford Florists at Stamford, Conn.
Ryan is a 2001 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and a 2005 graduate of Baldwin Wallace College. He is employed by Interactive Brokers at Greenwich, Conn.
The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Maui, Hawaii, and are residing in Stamford, Conn.
