Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Whipple Observe 65th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Whipple, Loyalsock Township, observed their 65th wedding anniversary on March 25.
They were married by Rev. Harold Washburn at Muncy Baptist Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Whipple, the former Louise Miriam Porzelt, is a native of Muncy.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Grenoble.
She graduated from Muncy High School in 1954 and retired from Commonwealth Bank.
Mr. Whipple, a native of Muncy, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Whipple.
He graduated from Muncy High School in 1954 and the Community College of the Air Force with a degree in radar technology.
He retired after serving 22 years of active duty in the Air Force.
He also retired from Cable Services Co.
They are the parents of a son, David Whipple, Baudette, MN, and two daughters, Ronnie Cremonini of Brandon, FL, and Terri Ocean, of Lansdale, PA.
There are 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
