The bride is the daughter of Thorvald Alfred and Aase Skjeggestad of Sanones, Norway.
She is a student at the University of Bergen in Norway.
The groom is the son of Dr. Gerald and Harriet Berner of Palo Alto.
A graduate of Palo Alto High School and the University of California, San Diego, he will continue his education in Bergen.
The couple will live in Bergen, Norway.
