Wedding - Adams-Scott
Heather Lee (Haglock) Adams and Brian Keith Scott were married on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008. Their wedding day was the five-year anniversary of their first date.
The 2 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by New Philadelphia Mayor Mike Taylor, a friend and former co-worker of the bride.
Heather’s parents are Tammy Burrell and the late Barney Burrell and Walker and Carol Haglock, all of Dover. Brian is the son of Dick and Sandi Scott of Dundee.
Maddie Adams served her mother as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Hallie Rothacher of Dover, sister of the bride, and friend Meredith Fearon of Strasburg.
Marcus Malcuit of Strasburg, friend of the groom, served as best man, along with Jeff Rothacher of Dover, brother-in-law of the bride; and friend Scott Fearon of Strasburg.
Brennen Adams escorted his mother down the aisle, and Cory Fearon of Strasburg was ringbearer.
The wedding and reception were held at Slutz Park on Dover Zoar Rd., outside of Mineral City. The setting was perfect, with multi-colored trees and leaves for the fall-themed wedding.
Brock and Emily Lauvray and Carrie Bayer, all of Strasburg, managed food and drinks at the reception. All the food was prepared by the bride, family and friends. The Eric Brooke Band provided fun, live entertainment.
Heather and Brian, who share the same birthday, were introduced in October 2003 by their attendants Scott and Meredith Fearon.
Heather graduated from Dover High School and attended Stark State College. She is employed as administrator at Kaufman Realty & Auctions in Sugarcreek. Brian graduated from Strasburg High School and is employed as a fuel truck driver for McIntosh Oil Co. in Canton.
The couple honeymooned in Michigan to various museums, restaurants and casinos and reside at 1109 N. Walnut St., Dover, O.
