Dr. and Mrs. Jonathan Hoyt of De Queen, AR are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Catherine Estelle Hoyt, to Trevor James Hooker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty Hooker of De Queen, AR.
Miss Hoyt is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jonathan Hoyt of De Queen, AR.
She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Ruth Estelle Kittrell and the late Dr. J.B. Kittrell, and step-granddaughter of Hazel Kittrell, all of Texarkana, AR.
She is the paternal granddaughter of Dr. Jerry Lee Hoyt and step-grandmother Bonnie Hoyt of Durant, OK, and the late Sally Ann Hoyt of Hot Springs, AR.
Mr. Hooker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty Hooker of De Queen, AR.
He is the maternal grandson of Bro. Travis and Anne Lane of De Queen, AR.
He is the paternal grandson of Mr. James Alton Hooker, and the late Nelda Sue Hooker of Lockesburg, AR.
Miss Hoyt is a 2007 graduate of De Queen High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
She is employed as a Cost Accountant by Nidec Motor Corporation in Mena, AR.
Mr. Hooker is a 2007 graduate of De Queen High School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business from Southern Arkansas University.
He is employed as a Trainman for the De Queen and Eastern Railroad Company in De Queen, AR.
The ceremony is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in De Queen, AR.
