Revels - Lewis
Kaylen Suzanne Revels and Patrick Glover Lewis were united in marriage on Saturday, July 23, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Arkansas at 6:30 in the evening.
Reverend Frank Lewis, uncle of the groom, of the First Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee officiated.
Kaylen is the daughter of Maribeth and Greg Revels and the granddaughter of Arlene and Ed Revels and Betty and the late Wayne L. Smith, all of De Queen.
Patrick is the son of Susanne and Jim Lewis of Little Rock.
He is the grandson of Juanita and the late James E. Lewis Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama and Martha and the late Solon H. Glover of Little Rock.
Music was provided by organist Kathy Kaney, pianist Mike Walsh, and the Covenant Presbyterian choir.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk taffeta mermaid-style gown with an asymmetrical train.
She carried a bouquet of ivory peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses.
Serving as the bride’s matron of honor was Sarah Morphew of De Queen, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Callie Layer and Morgan Langford, both of Jonesboro; Jacquelyn Harrison and Hillary Head both of Fayetteville; Amy Lewis, sister-in-law of the groom, of Little Rock; and Carson Corbell of Ashdown.
Junior bridesmaid was Bailey Ward of De Queen, niece of the bride.
They wore navy-blue chiffon knee-length dresses and carried ivory and blush hydrangeas and roses.
Flower girls were Lorel and Ellie Morphew of De Queen, also nieces of the bride and Lilly and Lucy Lewis of Little Rock, nieces of the groom.
Jim Lewis, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Cris Atkinson, Crow Lord, John Thomas Metrailer and Matthew Lewis, brother of the groom, all of Little Rock; Jeremy White of North Little Rock, Cole Lumpkin of Atlanta; and Peter Aburrow of Dallas.
Guests were seated by Stephen Griffin of North Little Rock, Marshall Craig of Dallas, and Mitchell Morphew, brother-in-law of the bride, of De Queen.
The reception was held at the Clinton Presidential Center’s grand ballroom.
Music was provided by the band, Tragikly White.
A buffet-style dinner of the bride and groom’s favorite foods was served.
Kaylen has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Spanish from the University of Arkansas, where she was named a Fulbright Senior Scholar.
She is in her third and final year of law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law and serves as a law clerk at the office of David H. Williams.
Patrick is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
He is a business banker at Regions.
After a wedding trip to the Rivera Maya area of Mexico, the couple made their home in North Little Rock.
Several showers were held for the couple. In De Queen, a kitchen shower was held in the home of Cindy Hale.
Members of Chapter B PEO held a recipe shower for the bride at Papa Pablano’s Restaurant, and a miscellaneous shower was held by the ladies of the De Queen Church of Christ.
