Bailey - McWhorter Wedding

Libby Bailey became Bride of Shawn McWhorter, both of De Queen, AR on November 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the residence of Leon & Rosie Deere of De Queen.

Officiating the outside ceremony on Rolling Fork River, was Rev. Buster Dillinger of Lockesburg.
The couple exchanged their own wedding vows before the Lord & a whole host of friends & family.

The Bride is the daughter of Claudie Bailey, Dennis & Lisa Rink-Hale all of De Queen AR., also previous step daughter of Donny McCoy of Eagletown, OK. The Groom is the Son of David & Penney McWhorter of Lockesburg AR & Chuck & Jo Ann Martin of Canton TX.

Given in marriage by her Father, the bride wore a formal wedding dress ball gown, light champagne color, full length with pink appliqué & bead work, a chapel with train & pink back sash. Her shoes were clear high heals with rhinestones. She carried a Fresh bouquet of a dozen pink roses both light & hot pink with baby breath & hot pink bow & camo ribbon. Her 2nd bouquet that she used to throw was made the same. She wore a double flat strand of pink button pearl jewelry, which were her mother's. Also given to the bride as a gift on her wedding day.

Serving as maid of honor was Amy Bailey. She wore a baby pink long satin gown dress with sheer pink and rhinestones with a shawl & carried small fresh bouquet of light & hot pink roses & wore same
shoes style as the bride. Serving as Bridesmaids were Kimberly Rink, Brittany Mitchell, & Jessica McWhorter their dress styles were the same as the maid of honor, but tea length while carrying fresh pink roses & their shoes were same as the brides also. Serving as flower girl was Kalyn McWhorter, she wore a long flowing satin white gown dress with pink appliqué, pink ribbon & bow in the front with a long pink sheer cape with fur around the edges, also a pink & white halo of flowers on her head she carried a white satin basket with light pink overlay, trimmed in camo ribbons & bows of pink with fresh pink rose petals. & white shoes.

The Groom wore a mossy oak camouflage tuxedo vest with matching bow tie, white shirt & dark pants & fresh light pink rose boutonniere. Serving as ring bears was Darius & Ronnie Ray Steel dressed the same as the groom, wearing light pink boutonnieres & carrying the rings on white satin pillows which were trimmed in pink and mossy oak camo ribbon. Serving as best man was Trey Mitchell & Groomsmen were Daryl Jett Rink, Jacob McWhorter, & John Simmons. They wore long sleeve button up mossy oak camo shirts and dark pants with light pink rose boutonnieres.

Serving as ushers were Anthony Moreland, Jesse Tonihka & Matt Dowell, all wearing matching mossy oak camo shirts with fresh light pink rose boutonnieres The Pastor wore a black suit & also had a fresh light pink rose boutonniere.

Serving as candle arbor lighters were Sylvia Swain, Michelle Whisenhunt wearing dresses of pink & Caterra Morphew wearing wedding colors also.

The Mothers had a special decorated table in which they lite a Family Candle one thing of many on the table was a plaque of Isa. 40:31 in which after lighting the candles, the mother of the bride & the bride's Step Father Sang, Isa.40:31 "They that wait upon the Lord"

The Arch was decorated with light pink roses with hot pink tips, accented with camo ribbon, white bows, pink tulle, & silver wedding bells. Ferns sat on each side of the archway & double heart
candle arbors with Unity candle standing in the middle all decorated matching with love doves on the unity.

The Decks & Balcony were decorated in wedding colors also with live ferns, other plants, flowers & much wedding decorations. The tables on the river where white & pink with a silver platter, assorted sized scented candles of sparkling off white with Ribbons of brown "we tied the knot", silver "with love", camo & pink, with glass rocks & pink rose petals around them.

Registering the guest at a decorated podium were Lonnie & Kathy Johnson wearing wedding colors.

Distributing elegant wedding favors at a decorated table were Tyler & Austin Johnson dressed in camouflage.

Razzy Bailey played a program of wedding music, He wore a camouflage shirt, khaki slacks & a fresh light pink rose boutonniere.

Lighting the tables display of candles were Makenzie Sims of OK City, Lauren Bizzell, Tracy Gibbs & Keith Bailey.

Serving the guest were Paul & Della Spears, Bonnie Pennick, Ramona Driver, Debbie Skipper. Helpers were Sigrid Jorgenson, Veronica Jorgenson, Kandiz Morine, Shana Smith, Amy Bailey, Debbie Blankenship, Sara Turner, Stevie Turner, KK McWhorter, Carla McMillen,Morgan & Shelby Howard, Slim & Teresa Manns, Lonnie & Kathy Johnson, Jett Rink, Marsha Baxter, Dennis & Sue Lambeth, Sue Bailey, Vicky Ashley, Jane Sims, Debbie Whisenhunt, Michelle Whisenhunt, Leon & Rosie Deere.

Wedding DJ's were Carly McMillen & Kaitlin Whitt. Later Karaoke was provided for entertainment, Poker & Pool tables, also a slot machine & ping pong. A guest from Germany, was Barbara VanMeter & her husband Therron. She sang in German.

The bride's Mother wore a light pink dress with lace, a white hat with pink & camo accents, matching pink dress shoes & hot pink fresh rose corsage. The bride's Father & Step Father wore mossy oak camo with light pink fresh rose boutonnieres. The groom's Mother wore a dress of green color with hot pink fresh rose corsage The groom's Father wore camo with light pink fresh rose boutonniere. His Step Parents wore wedding colors with fresh roses of hot pink corsage & light pink boutonniere.

Catching the Fresh 2nd bouquet was Erica Bennett, Catching the 2nd garter was Jesse Tonihka. (the bride & groom kept the originals & had 2nd ones made to throw.)

Reception was decorated with rope lights, candles, pink flowers, wedding bells, lanterns, wedding pails with candles, balls, hearts & love doves, camouflage balloons, pearl white, pearl pink, balloons & white wedding bell & white personalized in pink & "just married" pink balloons, wedding crate paper with also pink & white. a valance of wedding decorations hung above the bride & groom table a decorated 16 x 20 picture of the bride & grooms engagement was on a standing easel with a standing tall pillar candle behind it which was decorated also, with green poinsettias on the floor under the photo.

With a Mother plaque & Father plaque on each side & plants beside the parents plaques. Silver & white poinsettias set all around the floor & beneath the bride /groom table were rose petals that made the initial of their last name (M) with silver wedding bells around that.& much much more.

On the Bride/Groom table there were Flower bouquet, & bride groom picture frame with picture of bride & groom , also a double heart frame with their picture. a tall fluted punchbowl on a petal stool with pink lemonade, a white layered square wedding cake accented with pinks & camos, with waterfall & ceramic bride groom topper with the groom carrying the bride. fresh roses & petals were used in waterfall & on cake which was done by the brides Aunt Susan Owen of Eagletown, OK. As a surprise gift there were lots of wedding favors, keepsakes trinkets & personalized wedding candies, treats & favors. Silver wedding bells on a chain adorned the table. A trio of candle & flower arrangement also was a center piece & standing silver trio of a decanter of sparking white grape juice & matching wine glasses for the bride & groom.

On the Brides & Bridesmaid table there were a double-heart Italian wedding cake, with pink roses & a 3 tier glass heart topper. two matching deep fruit punch bowls filled with cream punch. Camo & wedding candies, wedding flower bouquet & candles, ceramic bride & groom & deer, glass hearts, engagement photo, all her favorite things.

On the groom's & groomsmen table, with all of the Groom favorite things, colors, snacks & sports, a large tier of cupcakes with a bride/groom under an arch was the topper with white rose petals
beneath. a square punchbowl on a petal stool with strawberry lemonade & 3 glass pitchers of fruit water, flowers bouquet, candles & engagement photo. & all his favorite things.

The Flower Girl table decorated pink & to her liking which was western & all Cherry things such as , chocolate covered cherries, Cherry Cookies, cherry cakes, Cherry cream cheese pies, on a pie stand, cherry yogurt, maraschino cherries. a Deep fruit punch bowl filled with black cherry Kool-Aid, Cherry mints & other candies, candle & a picture of her in a horseshoe frame. & a pink John Deere boot bouquet.

The fruit table was assortment of fresh fruits & fruit dips, Spreads & fruit crackers. with a fluted fruit punch bowl filled with sugar free fruit punch with a fruit ring inside. Decorated & trimmed with wedding things also.

There were a decorated wedding table for the actual wedding party people themselves with silver wine glasses, glass ware, treats & trinkets.

There was a table of just wedding pretties & what knots which the bride & groom received for themselves afterwards. The main door way was decorated with a camo crocheted chain rope, love knots, with pink bead work, done by Kathy Grant. Camo banners & white wedding buckets with candles hung on hooked wire stakes, leading the way into the reception room. Marcia Higgins & Lisa Rink decorated with personalized ribbons & bows.

The dinning wedding guest tables were decorated with pink table clothes. Candles which were decorated in wedding colors camo, pink, white & clear, glass rocks, heart shaped 2 tone pink rose petals & all sizes of silver heart wire baskets with pink charm hearts dangling from the sides which were decorated with wedding colors & filled with wedding candies, confetti, & lots of wedding keep sake trinkets such as hard plastic bride & grooms, wedding rings, toast wine glasses, love doves etc- silver & white ting -ting sprays,& personalized placement cards & coasters. personalized ribbons & bows.

The Mr & Mrs. Bride/ Groom dinning table was a white table cloth, accented with a camo center, with pretty pink items around it. & wedding candles, favors & trinkets as well.

All sorts of personalized stickers, balloons, napkins, paper plates, cups with camo & pink, personalized ink pens, candles, matches, bubbles, bells, sparklers, pink personalized candies, personalized camo dog tags, note pads, pencils, blowers & baseball whistles. The plastic-ware was pink & clear with pink ribbon, baseball, heart, camo candies, keepsake trinkets, Several pictures sat on tables of the bride & groom some were personalized & much more.

Ten tables of various foods, wedding decorations, with camo, pink & white lace table clothes were used with flower bouquets & wedding items. Glassware & stainless steel were used for all the foods. A huge stainless steel punchbowl on a petal stool held lemon water. Coffee, tea & hot wassail cider, were served in stainless pots as well.

Wedding was coordinated by the bride & groom, Organized, decorated & catered by the Mother of the Bride. Girls hair & nails were professionally done. The aunt of the bride surprised her & had her hair done at the Hair Chalet, in which her daughter-in-law Stevi Lee did. Also helping was Savannah Cook.

Joane's Flowers did all fresh flowers for the wedding. Photography was done by Jayne Eden.
