50th Anniversary Celebration
The children of James and Sheila Morris of De Queen, Arkansas plan to honor the 50th anniversary of their parents.
James, of Umpire, and Sheila Schloh, of Wickes, were married in Wickes, Arkansas on Saturday afternoon, November 21, 1959.
For the comfort of their parents, the children are hosting an “in-home” celebration for the family and all their many friends.

James Andrew Morris
November 29, 1938 - January 1, 2013
Mr. James Andrew Morris, age 74, a resident of De Queen, died Tuesday, January 1st in the
Brookewood Nursing and Rehab, De Queen. He was born to Grady Denzil and Sibyl W. Wakley Morris on November 29, 1938 at Umpire, Arkansas. He was a retired contractor, and minister of the gospel. He was a Holiness Minister and former pastor of the West Line Holiness Church, and Cottrell Mission at Stratford, Oklahoma. He enjoyed working, and mowing the yard. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Frank Dorse, and a grandson, Jason Morris. He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Sheila Schloh Morris of De Queen, two sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Tammy Morris of De Queen, and Brian and Paula Morris of Nashville, two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa Dorse and Shonda K. and Waylon Yandell all of De Queen, eight grandchildren and their spouses, Julian and Deborah Dorse, Andy and LaShana Dorse, Kendra and Jonathan Weeks, Jessica and Jered Alexander, Nick Morris, Korey and Roxey Morris, Blake Yandell, Madison Yandell; thirteen great-grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley Haynes and Jodi Morris of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Warren and Robin Morris of Alaska, and Butch and Olena Morris of Umpire, Arkansas, five sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Richard Todd of Little Rock, Arkansas, Linda and J. R. Davis of Umpire, Arkansas, Gayla and Donnie Williamson of Wilmer, Alabama, Maxine and Garland Tallant of Horatio, and Judy Seals of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. James Morris will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 4th in the First Assembly of God Church of De Queen with Rev. Orville Cottrell, Bro. Billy Don Weeks, and Bro. Tracy Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Umpire, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen on Thursday, January 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
