Parker - Oliver
Miss Betty Marilyn Oliver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Oliver of 17 Russ street, and Jerry Peter Parker, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Parker of 922 Curran highway, North Adams, were married at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the First Baptist church in North Adams.
Rev. Kenneth A. Dalton, pastor, officiated.
Matron of Honor
The bride had Mrs. Helen Segala of North Adams, the bridegroom's sister, as matron of honor, and Edward T. Oliver of Johnstown, served as best man for his brother.
Mrs. Oliver, the bride's sister-in-law, was soloist and sang "O Promise Me."
The bride wore a light blue, fitted suit with white accessories, and her flowers were yellow roses,
The matron of honor wore a grey suit trimmed with pink, with matching pink accessories. Her flowers were pink roses.
The reception was held at noon at the home of the bride's parent.
The bride is employed at the Hoosac Mills corporation plant in North Adams and the bridegroom works at Hunter's founder there.
Wedding Trip
Following a wedding trip to New York city, Mr. and Mrs. Parker will reside at 107 Veazie street, North Adams.
Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Oliver and her family from Johnstown, and Sgt. Joseph Segala, who is stationed in Virginia.
