Lorences mark golden wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lorence of Johnstown have marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Seven Springs Mountain Resort with their two sons and their families.
Mr. Lorence and the former Norma Mervin were married Sept. 14, 1963.
Mr. Lorence worked in broadcasting at WJAC until 1981 when he went into the radio business.
The Lorences formed Norlin Broadcasting and owned 101.7 FM and 1330 AM. They both retired in 2001.
They are the parents of two sons, Brad Lorence, and wife, Kristi, Somerset; and Doug Lorence, and wife, Krysti, Johnstown.
There are five grandchildren, Adam, Amy, Camryn, Jack and Cooper, and a step granddaughter, Hayley Bragdon.
