Beane - Gray
Shantra Marie Beane and Kevin Murray Gray were married June 19, 2004, at Life Community Church of Hunter Hills. The reception followed at the Empire Room. On Friday evening the rehearsal dinner was held at the church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Beane of Seagrove, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Ruby and Arthur Beane and Bill and Ruby Beck. She is a graduate of North Moore High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and Master of Arts degree in counseling from Appalachian State University. She is employed by CenterPoint Human Services and Novant Behavorial Health.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gray of Greensboro, N.C. He is the grandson of Emery and Bertha Gray and W.T. and Rachel Murray. He is a graduate of Vandalia Christian High School and GTCC. He is a firefighter with the Greensboro Fire Department.
The bridesmaids were Beth Mickel Greene, Dana Ledbetter, Covey Dubose, Heather Helton, Beth Cockman, Kimberly Beck Howell, Allison Beck and Brittany Vaden. Isabella Morgan Greene was the flower girl.
Roy Gray was the best man. Groomsmen were Ken Gray, Daniel Gray, Derek Beane, Robert Howard, Kirk Wood, Chris Foyles and Bobby Garner. Dylan Gray was the ring bearer.
Following a surprise honeymoon the couple will reside in Kernersville.
