Fisher - Williamson
Jill Katherine Fisher and Brian Malcolm Williamson were united in marriage Saturday, October 9, 1999, at one o'clock in the afternoon at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Greensboro. The Reverend Jamie L'Enfant officiated. Mr. Benjamin Brafford, organist, and Dr. Edward Bach, trumpet soloist, provided music. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Carolina Theatre.
The bride is the daughter of the Reverend Jerry William Fisher and Sarah Holsinger Fisher. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Fred P. Fisher, the late Mrs. Helen Briggs Fisher, Yvonne Lamoreaux Holsinger and Dr. G. Robert Holsinger. She is an applications programmer at Novartis Crop Protection and is pursuing a degree in English at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The groom is the son of Mr. James Malcolm Williamson and Mrs. Judy Flaspoehler Williamson. He is the grandson of Mr. Malcolm Williamson, the late Mrs. Helen Banta Williamson, the late Mr. Edward Flaspoehler and Mrs. Julia Becker Flaspoehler. The groom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a PC Engineer at Novartis Crop Protection.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Miss Sarah Stevenson, as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Dobson of Greensboro; her sisters Anne Fisher and Carrie Fisher of Wake Forest; Amy Pattee of Bordentown, New Jersey and the groom's sister, Anna Williamson of Asheville.
Lieutenant Edward Tyndall of Wilmington served as Best Man. Groomsmen were John Fernandez of Key West; the bride's brother, Andrew Fisher of Wake Forest and Ron Fulp of Greensboro.
Following a wedding trip to France the couple will reside in Greensboro.
