Ivy Renee Bodenheimer and Scott Michael Taucher were united in marriage Saturday, October 9, 1999 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Union Cross Moravian Church, Winston-Salem.
Pastor Jake Thornhill of Hunter Hills Baptist Church officiated.
Music was provided by Nathan Smith, clarinetist, Virginia Foust Smith, oboist, Scott Whitesell, organist and Carrie Ward, vocalist, and a live string quartet.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Peggy Bodenheimer of Kernersville.
She received a degree in Music Performance with a minor in Political Science from UNC-Greensboro.
She was formerly employed by Coldwell Banker Triad Realtors and was an aerobics instructor for High Point Health and Fitness.
The groom is the son of Tom and Sharon Taucher of Waterloo, IA.
He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
He is a Senior Procurement Analyst with First USA Bank.
The bride was attended by Mrs. Carrie Ward as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Natasha Warren, Miss Penny Crews and Miss Kim Dixon.
The groom chose his brother, Mr. Tom Taucher, Sr. to serve as best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Steve Lesser, Mr. Dean Vogt and Mr. Sam Mankaryos.
Following a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple will reside in Newark, Delaware.
