Kendall-Price Wedding
Michael Neal Kendall and Erica Ruth Price were married Oct. 2, 2010 on the back lawn beside the Cooper River at Rice Hope Plantation in Moncks Corner, S.C.
The late Pastor Tony Woodruff officiated the ceremony.
The groom is the son of Mark and Pamela Coggins of Lawrenceville and the son of the late Calvin Neal Kendall.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Red and Katie Kendall of Blue Ridge and the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Jo Love of Hapeville.
He is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in civil engineering.
He is currently employed with Davis & Floyd Inc. in Charleston, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Kent and Emily Price of Covington.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selby and Judi Price of Douglasville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Margaret Hardeman of Villa Rica.
She is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a degree in fashion merchandising and a minor in business.
She is currently employed with Anne's in Charleston, S.C.
The mother of the groom was escorted down the aisle by her son Timothy Cagle, and the mother of the bride was escorted by her son Christopher Price.
The bride was escorted by her father and given away by her parents.
She wore a white sleeveless wedding gown accented by sequins surrounding the waistline.
She wore the necklace and earrings that had been worn by her maternal grandmother on their 40th wedding celebration in 1996.
She also wore her maternal grandfather's blue Bass High School ring, and she borrowed a diamond ring from her aunt Lisa.
Erica redesigned the veil that had been her mother's and made it her own for the wedding.
Her bouquet, consisting of white and pale pink roses and gerbera daisies, was made by her mother as was as all the ladies' corsages and men's boutonnieres.
The groom wore a black pin-striped suit with a mint green shirt accented by a white shimmery paisley print tie and a single pale pink rose boutonniere.
The couple spent their honeymoon at the Occidental Grand Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica, where they enjoyed such activities as zip lining through the rainforest, white water rafting, relaxing by the pool and strolling the beach.
The couple resides in Hanahan, S.C.
