Charles Moon and Catherine Moon of Conyers celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 20, 2011.
Their children, grandchildren, Gary and Linda Kimm and Jerry Ragsdale honored them with a small reception at their home on July 25, 2011 with family and friends in attendance.
They have two children, Joey Moon and Mary Williamson.
They have three grandchildren, Chris Humphries, Wanda Williamson and Alex Moon.

[Obituary of Charles Moon: "MOON, Charles J. Charles J. Moon, age 96, of Conyers, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church: Rockdale County. Rev. Scott Richardson, Rev. Jerry Grey, & Rev. Stacy Myers will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Moon was the owner & operator of Moon Grading and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Catherine Bryant Moon; Son & Daughter-in-law: Henry J. [Obituary of Catherine Moon: "Catherine B. Moon of Conyers, Georgia - July 11, 1921 - June 17, 2019 - Catherine Bryant Moon, age 97, of Conyers, died Monday, June 17, 2019. Born to Elmer Otis Bryant and Pearl Gresham Bryant in Conyers, she spent most of her life in the Lithonia/ Conyers area. Catherine enjoyed gardening, canning, working with her flowers, bowling, crocheting, working puzzles, visiting and traveling with AARP, and she was a member of the ‘Friendship Club’. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working in Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 75 years, Charles Josiah Moon; brothers, John Bryant, Carl Bryant and Louie Bryant; sisters, Mary Williams and Vera Addis. Surviving are her son, Henry Josiah Moon and his wife, Patricia, of Loganville; daughter, Mary Williamson; brother, Clyde Bryant and his wife, Ann, of Atlanta; sister, Belle Scaffe of Conyers; grandchildren, Christopher James Humphries and his wife, Sandra, of Conyers, Wanda Williamson of Conyers, and Alex Moon of Atlanta. Step-grandchildren, Tina Hartley of Eustis, FL and Toni Farring of Summerfield, FL: many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and her “other daughter,” Lynda Kimm. A funeral service will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday, June 20, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Richardson, Rev. Stacy Myers and Rev. Jerry Gray officiating. Her remains will be placed in-state at 1:30 o’clock. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8, Wednesday, June 19.
