Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Marlin, of Sedalia, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2010.
Zula May Dilthey and J.W. Marlin were married Aug. 6, 1950.
Mr. Marlin is a retired farmer. Mrs. Marlin retired from the savings and loan industry.
They have two daughters, Brenda Blevins, of Warrensburg, and Janice Huffman, of Vienna, Va.; and four grandchildren.

[Obituary of J.W. Marlin: "WARRENSBURG — Johnie William (J.W.) Marlin age 87 passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was born on October 21, 1927 in Beaman, Missouri son of T.E. (Tink) and Daisy Williams Marlin. He was married on August 6, 1950 in Sedalia to Zula M. Dilthey and she preceded him in death on April 29, 2013. J.W. graduated from Hughesville High School. He served in the Merchant Marines in WWll and then during the Korean Conflict he served in the Army. He was a farmer most all of his life. He served on the Board OF Directors of Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Nelson. J.W. was an avid fisherman and was a Charter Member of the Coon Hunters. He is survived by two daughters; Brenda Blevins of Warrensburg, Missouri and Janice Huffman of Vienna, Virginia, one sister; Gertrude Morris of Cole Camp, Missouri, four grandchildren; Johnathan Blevins, Christina Blevins, Brittany Huffman and Nicole Huffman. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Stella Marie Marlin, Laverne Boone and Lorene Michael. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Basye officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Union Cemetery."]

She was born on May 27, 1930 in Sedalia, Missouri daughter of William and Zula (McMullin) Dilthey. She was married on August 6, 1950 in Sedalia to J. W. Marlin and he survives. Zula graduated from Pilot Grove High School. She worked at the Public Finance, Industrial Savings & Loan, Sedalia Credit Reporting Services and other financial institutions. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Nelson, Missouri. She loved the time spent with her family and friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Brenda Blevins, of Warrensburg, Misssouri and Janice Huffman, of Vienna, Virginia, one brother, Charles Byron Dilthey, of Knob Noster, Missouri, four grandchildren: Johnathan Blevins, Christina Blevins, Brittany Huffman, Nicole Huffman.
