Westerhold - Rouse
SIKESTON - Dayna Lynn Westerhold and David Matthew Rouse exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony Oct. 6 at the First United Methodist Church before the Rev. Sandra Schaller.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Westerhold of Sikeston and Walter Westerhold of Pacific. The bridegroom is the son of Linda Rouse and John and Beverly Rouse of Columbia.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Judy Nickell, organist; Gay French, soloist and violinist; and Neal Boyd, soloist.
The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore an off-the-shoulder two-piece white Italian satin wedding gown featuring a v-waist and chapel-length train. The gown was trimmed at the neckline and waist with pearl sequins and had lace-band trim at the hem. The slit train was accented with a bow. She complemented her attire with opera gloves and a golden-jeweled rhinestone and pearl tiara with ribbon edge which held in place her fingertip veil.
Serving as maid of honor was Kristina Allmeroth of Robertsville with Debbie Rouse, sister of the bridgegroom, of Columbia as the bridesmaid.
The bridegroom chose Jered Hunt of Springfield to be the best man and his brother, Robert Philip of Columbia, to be the groomsman. Ushers at the ceremony were the bride's brothers, Daniel Westerhold of Jonesboro, Ark., and David Westerhold of Pacific.
The guest book attendant was Krista Guyon of Pacific.
Immediately following the ceremony was a reception in the church fellowship hall. The reception was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Clayton, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Logan, Karen Turley and Lynn Brown of Charleston. A second reception to honor the couple was held Oct. 19 in Columbia.
Following a honeymoon at St. Petersburg, Fla., the couple now resides in Columbia where the new Mrs. Rouse is a teller supervisor with First National Bank. Rouse is a certified public accountant and serves as a fund accountant for AEP.
