Keith - Mason

SIKESTON - Brandy Deann Keith became the bride of Ronnie Mason during a 5 p.m. ceremony July 7, 2001, at the Fellowship Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe McCullough officiated during the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Sherrie Crouthers of Sikeston and granddaughter of Cecil Atchley of Lilbourn and Elizabeth Nelson of Cape Girardeau.

Mason is the son of Ron and Jan Mason of Sikeston and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Yates of Sikeston and Vera Mason of Bell City.

The sanctuary was adorned with ivy and tulle-draped columns, upon which sat various sizes of candles. White satin ribbon flowed from each bow-topped pew down the center aisle.

Providing music for the occasion were pianist Joy Pickett, bass accompanist Ryan Aldrich and organist Kay Harper.

Soloists for the ceremony were Stephanie Rowland who performed "In This Very Room" as the candles were lit and Bethany Sain, sister of the bridegroom, who sang "The Father Says I Do," as the bride stood with her parents after the processional. Mike Wilson sang "Parent's Prayer" as the parents of the bride and bridegroom came forward to light the candle held by the couple, symbolizing two families and two lives coming together as one to be a light for Jesus Christ.

The grandparents entered and were seated to "As the Deer," a piano solo by Steve Gillespie. The parents of the bridegroom and mother of the bride entered and were seated to Johann Sebastian Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring."

The wedding party entered as couples to "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel.

As "The Wedding March" was playing, the bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. The gown she chose was by Oleg Cassini, featuring long, sheer sleeves ending in soft points which were extended to her hands and accented with pearls and iridescent sequins. A shortened sweetheart neckline lay outlined in hand-sewn pearls. The body of the gown encompassed an intricate pattern of pearls on matte satin.

Extending from the fitted waist was satin, overlaid with layers of organza. A sporadic pattern of pearls and iridescent sequins accented the outer layer of organza and an eight-foot train. The bride chose as her headpiece a tiara and veil comb.

Maid of honor was Katie Boyle of Austin, Texas. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Rowland of Jackson, Tenn., Christie Cook of Boston, Ma., Amy Bartlett of Benton and Corrie Gordon of Sikeston.

Flower girl was Lily Sain of Sikeston, niece of the bridegroom.

The bridegroom chosen Jeff Ellis of Sikeston as his bestman.

Groomsmen were Jimmy Mason of Gulf Shores, Ala., brother of the bridegroom; David Newton of Arlington, Va.; and Joel Vinson of Sikeston.

Ring bearer was Trey Clay of Marston, cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Whitney Clay of Marston, cousin of the bride; and Ashley Yates of Sikeston, cousin of the bridegroom.

Derek Sain of Sikeston, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Brent Keith of Jonesboro, Ark., brother of the bride; and Ed Moreno of Bloomfield served the couple as acolytes.

Vicki Gillespie and Cheryl Parker were the wedding coordinators; Alana Ellis of Sikeston was the wedding party escort.

The couple and the wedding party exited the sanctuary to Bach's "My Heart Ever Faithful."

Following the wedding ceremony a reception was hosted at the Sikeston Country Club. Music was provided by Larry Carroll of Pro Music. The bride and bridegroom chose for "Angel Eyes" for their first dance. Guests were served from a white, four-tiered wedding cake accented with alternating patterns of black satin ribbon.

A bridal shower was hosted by Cheryl Parker May 19 at Susie's Bake Shoppe. On June 9, Darlene Ballard, Carolyn Burchett and Greta Davis hosted a bridal shower at the First Baptist Church. Additional showers were given in June by the Missouri Delta Medical Center Surgery Department and the Foot and Ankle Center of Southeast Missouri. A final wedding shower was hosted by the Fellowship Baptist Church on June 23.

The Masons are making their home in Sikeston.
