Miller - Adams
JACKSON - Melissa Renee Miller and Mark Allan Adams exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. outdoor ceremony June 2, 2001, at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Les Cassil of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbia performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Tim and Donna Miller of Jackson and her husband is the son of Mark T. and Tamera Adams of Sikeston.
Escorted by her father, the bride's gown was fashioned in white organza featuring a princess style with beaded spaghetti straps. The bodice was embellished with white pearls and translucent sequins that trailed off and were sprinkled over the bottom of the skirt. The gown was complemented with a chapel-length train.
Kimberly Miller of Sikeston attended her sister as maid of honor and bridesmaid was Ashley Brooks of Millstadt, Ill., cousin of the bride. Lauren Schuette of Jackson, friend of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Paige Brooks of Millstadt, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Wes Catoor of Rolla served his friend as best man and Matt Wade of Rolla, also a friend of the bridegroom, was groomsman. Ushers were Chris Wunderlich of Rolla, friend of the bridegroom and Jason Brooks of Millstadt, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Hunter Schuette of Jackson, friend of the bride.
The outdoor reception was held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony.
Following a wedding trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, the couple is residing in Sullivan.
