Whittaker - 60th
Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Whittaker of Hannibal will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004, at the home of their daughter, Rosemary Shockley, 11068 Old Highway 79.
They were united in marriage on April 22, 1944, in Steelville.
They are the parents of seven sons, David Whittaker, Delmar Whittaker, Albert Whittaker and Archie Whittaker, all of Hannibal, Jim Whittaker of Rolla, and the late Clifford Whittaker and John Whittaker; and two daughters, RoseMary Shockley and Ellen Schnelle, both of Hannibal.
They have 37 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker moved to Hannibal in 1950.
Mr. Whittaker retired from W.H. Arnold Lumber Co. in 1983.
Mrs. Whittaker is a retired nurse's aide from local hospitals and nursing homes.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
