Cummins - Stallings
COLUMBIA - Family and friends gathered for the 5 p.m. wedding July 7 to witness the exchange of vows between Hayli Anne Cummins and Nathan Matthew Stallings. The double-ring ceremony was held at the Christian Chapel and performed by the Rev. Doug Phillips.
The bride is the daughter of Mick and Pam Cummins of Columbia and granddaughter of Bill and Darlene Garrett of Louisville, Ill.
The bridegroom's parents are James and Barbara Stallings of Sikeston and he is the grandson of Margaret Alger and Carrie Henzi of Sikeston.
Pianist Michael Butterworth and drummer Lucas Cummins, brother of the bride, provided accompaniment to vocalist Trent Cummins, brother of the bride.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless floor-length organza gown which was embellished with beads and sequins that faded out just below the waist. The A-line skirt was accented with a train and the bridal veil was attached to a beaded hair band. Her bridal bouquet was made of fresh white roses, limonium, ivy and purple statice.
Eryn McGary of Columbia was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Leah Grantham of Columbia, Ashley Tipton of Southlake, Texas, and Stephanie Harrison and Elizabeth Garrett, both of Louisville, cousins of the bride. Samantha Charles of Smyrna, Ga., attended her cousin as junior bridesmaid and flower girl was Alexa Harrison of Louisville, also cousin of the bride.
Bryon Burgin of St. Louis served the bridegroom as best man. Jim Stallings of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Tim Stallings of Dallas, Texas, served their brother as groomsmen along with Mike Buck of Cape Girardeau and Chris Buck of St. Louis. Trent Cummins and Lucas Cummins served as ushers.
Candlelighters were Amy Price and Krista Price of Effingham, Ill.
The buffet reception was held at the Columbia Country Club where a five-tiered wedding cake was served to guests.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegroom's parents, was held July 6 at the Boone Tavern in Columbia.
The bride was guest of honor for three bridal showers held in Columbia and at a shower held in Sikeston which was hosted by Pam Bedell, Janet Meadows and Dawn Parker.
Following a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, Calif., the couple is making their home in Tulsa, Okla.
