Davis - Holman
ADVANCE - Tammy Renee Davis and Jason William Holman were united in marriage July 28, 2001, at the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. D.R. Heitman performed the double-ring ceremony.
The new Mrs. Holman is the daughter of Ted and Karen Hornbuckle of Advance and the bridegroom is the son of Randall and Kathy Collins of Sikeston and William and Ruth Holman of Jackson.
Music was provided by Lela Wiseman, friend of the bride.
The bride was presented in marriage by her son, Levi, and her daughter, Taylor, served as a miniature bride.
Lana Whittley of Advance served the bride as maid of honor. Janey Bailey of Advance and Jessica Brown of Independence attended their sister as bridesmaids. Sydney Bailey, daughter of Chris and Janey Bailey of Advance and niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The bridegroom chose Daniel Shackles of Marion, Ill., as his best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Holman of Bloomfield, brother of the bridegroom, and Steve Holman of Sikeston, cousin of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Austin Miller, son of Roy and Lana Whittley and Steve and Susan Miller of Advance. Ushers were Tyler Holman of Jackson, brother of the bridegroom and James Hornbuckle of Delta, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Advance Eagles Lodge.
A rehearsal dinner was held July 27 at the Hickory Log in Dexter.
Mrs. Holman is a 1992 graduate of Advance High School and works for the Advance Nursing Center.
Holman, a 1996 graduate of Sikeston High School, is employed by Griffin Excavating in Bloomfield.
The couple is making their home in Advance.
