Rolwing - Morgan

CHARLESTON - Carrie Lynn Rolwing and Timothy Gene Morgan were united in marriage at St. Henry Catholic Church in a 2 p.m. ceremony June 9, 2001. Monsignor Richard Rolwing performed the ceremony.

Candles and ferns accented with tulle decorated the church, arranged by Cora Sue Stallings and Angie Jones.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Jeanne Rolwing of Charleston and granddaughter of Charles and Marie Guariglia of Eureka and Norbert and Carmelita Rolwing of Charleston.

Her husband, son of Robert and Margaret McKinney of Charleston, is the grandson of Neomia McKinney of Charleston and the late Emory McKinney and J.C. and Earline McCain.

Organist Terry Parker and flutist Nancy Moreton provided music for the occasion and Myra Bryant of Charleston read from the Old and New Testaments.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless gown of white satin. The scoop neckline was banded with pearls and the bodice was enhanced with pearls and crystals. Featured on the floor-length skirt and chapel length train were an ivory organza overlay accented in pearls and crystals. The back of the dress featured a satin bow with long cascading streamers and the fingertip-length veil was accented with pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of pale peach colored roses tied with an ivory bow.

Dimple Patel of Birmingham, Ala., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Camp and Lisa Murphy of Birmingham and Angela Stricker of Charleston.

They wore two-piece gowns featuring long A-line skirts and sleeveless scoop neck tops of pale peach with an ivory organza overlay. Each carried a long stemmed single ivory rose tied with an ivory bow and streamers.

Flower girls Martha Guariglia and Isabel Guariglia of St. Louis wore ballerina-length dresses of white linen accented with white lace.

Casey Smith of Nashville, Tenn., was best man. Groomsmen were Clay Hillhouse of Pescadero, Calif., John Pearson of Birmingham and Kenneth McKinney of Charleston. David Rolwing of Indianapolis, Ind., and Kenneth McKinney of Charleston served as ushers.

The men in the wedding party wore black, single-breasted tuxedos with black vests and bow ties. Each wore a single ivory rose boutonniere.

MaryLara Guariglia of St. Louis was guest book attendant and program attendants were Anna Guariglia of St. Louis and Haley Guariglia of Columbia.

A reception and dance were held at the Coach House Inn in Sikeston, where a four-tiered wedding cake was decorated in white flowers and accented with sprays of pearls and crystals and sat atop a lighted fountain. The bridegroom's cake was decorated as an ambulance to reflect his previous job as an emergency medical technician. Double Take Sound System provided the music for the reception.

A rehearsal dinner at the Coach House Inn was hosted by the bridegroom's parents on June 8 for the wedding party and grandparents of the couple.

Following a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple moved to Kansas City, where the bride is a pharmacist at Osco Pharmacy and the bridegroom is a first year medical student at the University of Health Sciences.
