Anniversary - Pucker
Steve and Marge Pucker of South Fayette celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 20, 2005.
The couple met at a polka dance while Steve was playing in the band.
They were married on Aug. 20, 1955, at St. Michael's Church in Canonsburg.
The couple has one daughter, Barbara Mezynski, and one granddaughter, Jamie.
Steve served in the U.S. Army.
He was secretary and treasurer of Russell Standard Corp. until he retired in 1986.
He also retired from playing in the polka band.
The couple continues to enjoy retirement by going to polka dances and taking polka trips.
Also, within the past month, Steve has produced a CD called "Steve Pucker Sings Again."
