Dana Joy Spinda of Buford, Ga., was married to Shaun Foley of Cumming, Ga., on June 5, 2004 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Buford, Ga.
The bride's parents are David and Donna (Danks) Spinda of Big Canoe, Ga., and originally of Carnegie.
Her grandparents are Aurora Danks and the late Ernest Danks of Carnegie, and Helen Spinda and the late John Spinda of Carnegie.
The groom's parents are Wes and Dianna (Saucier) Foley of Havana, Fl.
Dawn Reed, the bride's sister, was matron of honor. Flower girl was Shaelyn Joy Spinda, the bride's daughter.
Best man was Lance Johnson, friend of the groom.
Bridesmaids: Justine Sher, Andrea Allen, Debbie Stevenson, Erika Hoehn, Gretchen Kotz.
Groomsmen: Russ Brink, Steve Sappington and Mark Noe.
The bride has her undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Georgia in speech pathology.
She is employed by Fulton County schools in Atlanta as a speech pathologist.
The groom graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in landscape architecture.
He is a project manager with Travis Pruitt and Associates in Norcross, Ga.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to sdhare an enchanted evening at the Renaissance Pine Isle Resort, Lake Lanier Islands, Ga., where they enjoyed cocktails at the outdoor golf pavilion overlooking the lake, followed by dinner and dancing in a ballroom with a breathtaking view of the lake.
The bridge chose an ivory colored tiara satin faux two-piece gown with an illusion neckline trimmed with hand-patterned beading on the bodice and box pleated skirt.
The scalloped hemline and semi-cathedral train were accented with tonal hand beading and embroidery.
To complete her attire, she chose a silver tiara headpiece studded with rhinestones and a fingertip length double layer silken illusion veil. The antique pearl pendant necklace was worn by her mother and sister on their wedding days and orginally was her great-great grandmother's.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
