Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kraemer of Brentwood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to Edward “E.J.” Friday.
Emily, a 1999 alumna of Brentwood High School, teaches kindergarten at Jackson Elementary outside of Houston, Texas.
She earned a bachelor’s in elementary education and a minor in Spanish from Penn State University.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rimlinger of Carrick, Richard Kraemer of Carrick and the late Dolores Kraemer.
E.J. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Friday of Indiana Township.
He is a 1998 alumnus of Fox Chapel Area High School and he earned a bachelor’s in business logistics with a minor in Spanish from Penn State University.
E.J. is a distribution analyst at Aventis Pasteur in Scranton, Pa.
E.J. is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Friday of Fox Chapel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson of Haddonfield, N.J.
The couple plans to be married at St. Sylvester Church in Brentwood in July 2004.
They plan to make their home in Scranton.
