Ordway-Hartley
Jennifer Ordway and Russell Hartley married Feb. 24, 2001 at the home of the bridegroom's parents James and Connie Hartley of 8565 Shannon Way. Parents of the bride are JoAnn Ordway of 1747 Camero Tierra, and the late George Ordway.
The wedding was officiated by Reed Lohrenz, and music was by Steve Moreno.
The bride was given in marriage by her friends and family. She wore a gown of white matte satin and lace. The sleeveless halter top of the sweetheart design featured a tank top neckline, and the skirt had a detachable semi-cathedral train. The bride carried white silk flowers with a variety of purple silk flowers.
Kathy Raebel washonor attendant, and the bridegroom's sister Melissa Haile was bridesmaid. They wore purple sleeveless gowns and carried flowers in various shades of purple.
Bridegroom's brother-in-law Ray Haile and John Grosskreutz were best men.
The bride and bridegroom graduated from Yuma High School. She graduated from Northern Arizona University and is now teaching at Otondo Elementary School. He is a police officer for the city of Yuma Police Department. A reception was held immediately after the wedding. Newlyweds went to Las Vegas for their honeymoon and now live at 2635 W. 12th Place.
