Barr-Bomboy
Sara Diehl Bomboy and Daniel K. Barr were joined in the bonds of holy matrimony on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville, PA.
Sara is the daughter of Paula Bomboy of Center Valley, PA and the late Craig Bomboy.
Dan is the son of Cheryl Mahoney of Natrona Heights, PA and Daniel Barr Sr. of Brackenridge, PA. Monsignor John Martin officiated in front of an alter decorated with spring flowers.
The bride was given in marriage by long time family friend Mr. Steven Markowitz. Catherine Bomboy of New York City was her sisters maid of honor and Matthew Barr was his brothers best man.
Bridesmaids included Katie Reichard, cousin of the bride; Carmella Talerico, cousin of the bride; Nikki Bar, sister of the groom and Jamie Barr, sister-in-law of the bride and groom.
Groomsmen included Anthony Mohney, step brother of the groom; Daniel Grahm, Jarod Napierkoloski and Jordan Sitt, friends of the bride and groom.
An outdoor reception was held following the ceremony at the Weyhill Guest House at Saucon Valley Country Club.
The bridal party and guests were entertained at a variety of events throughout the weekend including a welcome lunch at the Weyhill Woods home of Paula Bomboy; golf outings at the Weyhill course hosted by Joseph Reichard, uncle of the bride and Terry Seymour of Center Valley; a rehearsal dinner hosted by the mother of the groom at the Bethlehem Brew Works; and a Sunday brunch hosted by the mother of the bride at her home.
The bride and groom both graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003.
The groom graduated with a degree in Psychology and is employed in the production department of Bomboy Incorporated.
The bride graduated suma cum laude with degrees in Psychology and English Literature and is employed by AFLAC.
Following a honeymoon to San Francisco, the couple is residing in South Whitehall Township.
