Annie Jo Upperman and Sean Allan Freese were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Lansing United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Upson officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cathy Burgess and the late Edward Upperman and stepdaughter of William Burgess of Bridgeport.
The groom is the son of Edward and Kathy Szerszen of Wheeling.
Angela Murad was maid of honor. Michael Szerszen served as best man.
Other attendants were Tara Szerszen, Kaylyn Mayberry, Haley Campsey and Steve Sayre.
A reception was held at Ramada Plaza City Center Hotel, Wheeling.
The bride is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and Belmont Technical College with a degree in medical assisting. She is employed by Wheeling Hospital.
The groom is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and Belmont Technical College with a degree in electronics.
He is employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and is an instructor at USA Martial Arts.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Brookside.
