Amanda Dawn Brooks and Spike J. Nelson are planning to be married on March 18, 2000 at Britain's Chuckwagon.

Her parents are Keith Brooks and Teri Brooks, both of Yuma, and his are Jeff and Mary Nelson of 3605 Linda Lane.

A graduate of Yuma High School, the bride-to-be will graduate from Northern Arizona University-Yuma in May.

Her fiance attended Yuma High and is employed as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad.
