Couple Marks 58 Years

Edsel and Fannie Barcus of Martins Ferry celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 4, 2006.

They were united in marriage June 4, 1948 at Tiltonsville Church of God with the Rev. William McCurdy officiating.

They are the parents of three children. The family includes Edsel Jr. of Toledo, Karen Mitchell of Martins Ferry and Dale of Gainesville, Ga. They have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and three are deceased.

No special celebration is planned.
