Kelly Lorraine Melton, daughter of Don and Janice Woody and Richard Yates, all of Maryville, was united in marriage with Colin Lee Hurst, son of Terry and Sue Hurst of Walland, Oct. 23 at Shorty's Lake, Maryville.
Brian Brantley, Blount County Fire Department chaplain, officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Joey Gibson and Marsha Yates, sister-in-law of the bride.
Escorted by her children, Haley and Riley Melton, the bride wore a white satin, A-line dress with embroidered cording, flutter side and button back, an elbow-length veil and pearl and crystal tiara. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Shelley Fausnight of Maryville was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Trudy Woods of Maryville, sister of the bridegroom, Jill Smith of Maryville and Marsha Yates, sister-in-law of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Haley Melton, daughter of the bride.
They wore apple red, two-piece, strapless, A-line, floor-length gowns and carried bouquets of white roses with red tips.
Stacy Ridenour kept the bride's book.
Kevin James of Walland was best man.
Groomsmen were Bob Woods of Maryville, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Rusty Holbert of Maryville and Jeff Burns of Maryville.
Junior groomsmen were Riley Melton, son of the bride, and Tyler Hurst, son of the bridegroom.
A reception given by the parents of the bride and bridegroom was held at Shorty's Lake.
After a wedding trip to Hilton Head and Charleston, S.C., the couple are living in Walland.
The bride works for Ruby Tuesday's Support Center in the IT Department.
The bridegroom is a firefighter with the Blount County Fire Department.
