Wayne and Mary (Garrett) Hyatt of Maryville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at Thanksgiving.
They request no gifts.
The couple were married Nov. 18, 1944, in Reidsville, N.C.
The Rev. Swain officiated.
Their family includes children Marion (Mrs. Don) Nation of Tazewell, Va., and Jerry Hyatt of Burlington, N.C.
They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hyatt is retired from Tennessee Valley Authority.
Mrs. Hyatt is employed in the Maryville District Office of the United Methodist Church.
They are active members of Fairview United Methodist Church.
