Michele D. Crump, daughter of Diane Walters of Maryville and the late Eugene A. Crump, was united in marriage with Philip Marc Smitherman, son of Philip and Mildred Smitherman of Floydada, Texas, May 1 at New Providence Presbyterian Church, Maryville.
Emily Anderson officiated.
The bride was escorted by her twin brother, Michael E. Crump.
Megan Ingram served as maid of honor. Mariah Naftzger and Madeline Gregory were bridesmaids and
Chloe Weddle was flower girl.
All are nieces of the bride.
Jake Alexander Smitherman, son of the bridegroom, served as best man.
A reception was held at Green Meadow Country Club.
After a Caribbean wedding cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin, the couple are living in Alcoa with their son, Jake.
The bride is employed at Home Federal Bank in Maryville.
The bridegroom is the executive director of National Scouting Report of East Tennessee and is president/founder of the Tennessee High School Student Athlete Scholarship Foundation.
