Yeagers Celebrate 50th
John Robert “Bob” and Nell Yeager of New Martinsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 17, 2006.
They were united in marriage June 17, 1956 at North Street Church of Christ, New Martinsville, by C.W. Rock.
Nell Yeager is the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Eastham Lemasters of Middlebourne. She is retired from the former Plaza Hallmark Card Shop in New Martinsville.
Yeager is the son of the late John R. Yeager of New Martinsville and the late Helen Hoskinson Rollins of New Castle, Ohio. He is retired from Ormet Corp., where he worked for 35 years. He is an Army veteran of the Korean War.
They are the parents of three children. The family includes Jay and his wife, Barbie, of Reader; Brenda Ketchem of Parkersburg and Kathy Phillips and her husband, Deral, of Morgantown. They have seven grandchildren.
The Yeagers’ children will hold a reception for them at the Wetzel County Center for Children and Families, W.Va. 7, east of New Martinsville, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17. Family and friends may attend. They request no gifts.
