Peacocks married 25 years
Jim and Cecelia (Pledger) Peacock of Maryville will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary today at 5 p.m. by renewing their vows in a private ceremony at their home.
Dr. Jerry Russell, pastor at Fairview United Methodist Church, will officiate.
The couple were married July 28, 1979 in Dallas. Larry Davis officiated.
Their family includes children Stephanie Peacock Carpenter of Columbiaville, Mich., Ricky Peacock of Houston and Eric Peacock of Knoxville.
They have six grandchildren.
Mr. Peacock is retired as former director at Morrison's Healthcare at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Mrs. Peacock is currently clinical care coordinator at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital's Baptist Senior Centers.
The couple attend Fairview United Methodist Church.
Mr. Peacock is a lifetime member of Sertoma Club and currently an officer in the Marine Corps League.
