Amanda Coppinger, daughter of Skip and Sharon Coppinger of Rockford, was united in marriage with Jason Anderson, son of Paul and Bobbie Williams of Maryville, April 10 at Heritage Park. Ann Robins officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by vocalists Mike Hicks and Kelly Beddingfield.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a long, white dress with spaghetti straps and a long, pearl-beaded veil. The bride wore a new pearl set given to her as a gift from her grandmother. She carried a spring mix bouquet.
Amy Coppinger of Rockford was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer King of Rockford, April Burger of Lenoir City, and Jenny Vaughn, Lori Scott and Amy Sellers, all of Maryville. Junior bridesmaid was Samantha Blair.
The maid of honor wore a sage green, two-piece, floor-length gown and other attendants wore lilac, two-piece, floor-length gowns. All wore opal necklaces given to them by the bride from a recent trip to Australia. They carried spring mix bouquets.
Kailey and Kasidy Dunn were flower girls. Whitney Coppinger and Samantha Odom Blair kept the bride's book.
Paul Williams was best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Skeens of Roanoke, Va., David Cunningham, David Christopher and Bartley McMurray, all of Maryville, and Andrew King of Rockford.
A reception given by the couple and their family was held at the Heritage Park Pavilion. Assisting hostesses were Amber Monroe, Audrey Burger, Ashley Coppinger, Martha Coppinger, Billie Swaney and Holly Burns.
After a wedding cruise to Cozumel and the Grand Caymens, the couple are living in Rockford.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Heritage High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Tennessee. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in education at U.T. and completing her internship in special education at Heritage High School and Friendsville Elementary School. She also coaches the Heritage High School swim team.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of William Blount High School. He is an officer at the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
