Shawn LeeAnn Sleppy and James Porter West IV were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church, Moundsville, with Rev. Timothy Wilt officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kathy Sleppy of Benwood.
The groom is the son of Jim and Kim West of St. Clairsville.
Carly Barbor was maid of honor. Randy Evick served as best man.
Other attendants were Keith Sleppy, brother of the bride; Trisha Rykaczewski; Chris West, brother of the groom; Allison Cipoletti; John West, brother of the groom; Erin Shaw; Ryan Mlynek; LeeAnn Anderson; Craig Thomas; Katrina Toth and Ian Gulley.
A reception was held at Generations, Wheeling
The bride is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2005 graduate of Fairmont State University with a bachelor of arts degree in education, specializing in physical education and health. She will attend Walden University in the fall to pursue a master of education degree. She is employed by City of Manassas (Va.) Public Schools as an elementary physical education teacher.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. He is employed as manager at Hobby Town USA, Manassas.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Manassas.
