Jennifer Lindsay, daughter of Michaela McCroskey of Walland and the late Billy C. Lindsay, was united in marriage with Brian Crabtree, son of Mary Sue Crabtree of Winfield and the late Absalom Everett Crabtree, May 8 in a private ceremony at the Powell Farm in Walland.
R.M. Everett officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Trish Whaley of Knoxville singing ``Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this Place.''
The bridegroom escorted the bride in a horse-drawn carriage by Echo Brook.
The bride wore an ivory, strapless, silk Maggie Sottero Couture gown, a rhinestone tiara previously worn by her mother and a fingertip-length veil.
She carried white and wine calla lilies wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.
A reception given by the couple and the bride's mother was held at Regal Towers in Maryville.
Family and friends assisted.
After a wedding trip to Blowing Rock, N.C., the couple are living in Walland.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
She is employed as director of consulting at Time Controls Inc. in Knoxville.
The bridegroom is employed as an account representative at ARS in Knoxville.
