Their family includes children Brenda Loken of Crestview, Fla., Keith Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Kathy Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Karen Williams of Keesler AFB, Mississippi, Edwin Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Valerie Coleman of Navarre, Fla.
They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Tallent is president of Talco Awards Showcase Inc. Mrs. Tallent is a homemaker.
Mr. Tallent is retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
He is past president of the Fort Walton Beach Lions Club.
Mr. Tallent is a 1951 graduate of Everett High School.
Mrs. Tallent is a 1951 graduate of Alcoa High School.
