Mr. and Mrs. Debety married 60 years
The Rev. Clifford and Mafle Debety of Alcoa will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary March 4.
The couple were married March 4, 1944 in Chatsworth, Ga.
Their family includes daughters Barbara Easterday and her husband Richard of Louisville, and Gail Morgan and her husband Rick of Maryville.
They have three grandchildren, Lynn, Lacy and Jill, and three great-grandchildren, Haven, Ben and Amber.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Debety are retired after serving in the ministry for over 50 years.
Mr. Debety was also employed with Alcoa Inc. for 39 years.
