Amanda Dawn Boring, daughter of Henry Boring of Maryville and the late Brenda Boring, was united in marriage with Carl Douglas Gennoe, son of Carl and Phyllis Gennoe of Maryville, Feb. 28 at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Toby Downey officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Linda Hutchens.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin, strapless A-line dress with beaded pearls that continued all the way down the train.
She wore a fingertip-length veil with a satin strip around the edges and carried white calla lilies and red roses tied with a white ribbon.
Amber Boring of Maryville, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Catlin West, cousin of the bride, kept the bride's book.
Carl Gennoe of Maryville, father of the bridegroom, was best man. Rex Tilley served as usher.
A reception given by the father of the bride was held at the church fellowship hall.
Assisting hostesses were Penny Lockhart, Mary Thompson and Amanda Tilley.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Heritage High School and received an Associate of Science degree from Pellissippi State Technical Community College in December 2003.
She is attending East Tennessee State University.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Heritage High School.
He is employed as an associate at Denso Manufacturing.
The couple are members of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
