Kolb - Battista
Stacy Ann Battista and Joseph John Kolb were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. James LaCrosse officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Anna Marie Battista of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of Teresa Henthorn of Wellsburg.
Lindsay Ammirante was maid of honor. John Potter served as best man.
Other attendants were Danielle Barry; Shannon Boneneberger; Brianne Boyd; Jennie Snodgrass; Taylor Kolb; James Kolb, brother of the groom; Robert Kolb, brother of the groom; Travis Mitchell; Brian Wieclaw; Dylan Kolb and Matthew Kolb.
A reception was held at the White Palace ballroom, Wheeling Park.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and a 2002 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education K-6, special education K-12 and preschool/kindergarten. She is scheduled to graduate in the fall from West Virginia University with a master’s degree in reading. She is employed as a special education teacher at Triadelphia Middle School.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2002 graduate of Bethany College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education K-6 and special education K-adult. He is employed as a special education teacher at Brooke High School, where he also serves as the boy’s junior varsity and assistant varsity basketball coach.
After a wedding trip to St. Augustine, Fla., the couple will reside in Wheeling.
