Robinsons to celebrate 50 years
William N. ``Bill'' and Mildred ``Mill'' (Cooper) Robinson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2-4 p.m. July 27 at Proffitt Dining Room on the Maryville College campus.
The couple request that gifts be omitted.
The Robinsons were married Aug. 2, 1953 at First Presbyterian Church, New Hyde Park, N.Y. The Rev. Kenneth Brown officiated.
Their family includes children Bill and Martha Robinson of Maryville, Ann and Dr. Chris Craig of Knoxville, Bob and Martha Robinson of Tupelo, Miss., Susan and Roger Hoover of Kingsport, Mary and Brian Dodson of Austin, Texas, and Tom and Cindy Robinson of Maryville.
They have 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Robinson is a retired Baptist minister of music.
Mrs. Robinson is retired from teaching in the Kingsport City Schools.
